John Storck

For several years, John Storck has been a member of the Review Board for the CIO Magazine Enterprise Value Award. This award honors organizations that demonstrate how information technology can be used to dramtically transform operations, competitive dynamics, and strategy. In this role, he was responsible for three rounds of evaluation: an initial screening based on written applications for the award, site visits to semi-finalists, and a final judging event, including presentations to a panel of leading CIOs.

Professor Storck was Treasurer of the ACM Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work that took place in Boston with over 800 participants. This prominent role involved budgeting, controlling, and accounting for expenses for all aspects of the conference. He has also served on committees of other academic associations and on National Science Foundation review panels.

John Storck is also a trustee of the North Haven Development Corporation, a venture funding group that supports economic development on an offshore island in Maine.
